Reporters MUST report not just be public relations announcers.

Referencing the article in the New York Times, “Sex, Drug Use and Graft Cited in Interior Department” It is difficult to work with someone, have sex with and socialize with the same individual and remain objective.

While on a much different level the media in general has the same problems. If a reporter wants to have sources they can go to, to “scoop” the opposition that reporter cannot be completely honest when reporting on areas involving that source.

As defense attorneys and prosecutors have an adversarial relationship so must reporters and the people they are reporting on. If you are going to report truth, complete truth must the only measuring stick.

Reporters MUST report not just be public relations announcers.
