Sunscreen / Dangerous to Humans and to Nature

Curious how the ingredients in sunscreen prime the growth of a virus in the algae that live inside coral reefs. Estimates are  that between 4,000 and 6,000 metric tons of sunscreen wash off swimmers each year worldwide, threatening to turn about 10 percent of coral reefs into bleached skeletons. The people that enjoy the coral reefs the most are responsible for destroying them. Additionally some sunscreen products contain oxybenzone, a chemical suspected of having carcinogenic properties when exposed to sunlight. It appears sunscreen, a product meant to protect is a danger to humans and nature.
